Singapore to Host Its First PPA Tour Asia Pickleball Event in July 2026
Singapore’s pickleball scene is leveling up in a big way.
The Republic will host its very first Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour Asia event, the PPA Asia 500 Singapore Open, from 23 to 26 July 2026.
This US$70,000 tournament marks the sixth stop on the 2026 PPA Tour Asia calendar and puts Singapore firmly on the regional professional map.
The announcement comes as pickleball continues its rapid growth across Asia. Before the main Singapore Open, the city will also welcome a PPA Asia 125 event, PickleSlam 2026, from 11 to 19 April, giving local players an earlier chance to compete at a professional level.
Singaporean pro Ryan Ng, who is part of the UPA Asia Trailblazers Programme, is excited about what this means for the local community.
“Hosting a PPA Tour Asia Event in Singapore shows that we are now part of the global professional circuit,” he shared. “This kind of exposure will boost visibility for pickleball here, inspire younger players, and help raise the overall standard in Singapore.”
UPA Asia managing director Kimberly Koh added that the 2026 calendar reflects the incredible momentum pickleball is gaining across the region.
