Family Open Play is a two-hour Sunday session for parents and children to get on court together, enjoy friendly games and meet other pickleball families.

Rated & Unrated Players Welcome
You do not need an existing DUPR rating to join. Unrated players may participate if they are playing at approximately DUPR 2.5 level or above.
Every participant must have a DUPR account before the event so eligible match results can be recorded.
There is no fixed-season commitment and no weekly promotion or relegation system.

Before You Join
Do I need to bring a partner?
Community Open Play, Guided Open Play and Saturday DUPR allow participants to register individually and rotate with other players. Family Open Play is different: registration is by parent-child pair.
Can complete beginners join?
Community Open Play works best once you understand the basic rules, scoring and how to sustain a game. The Sunday Ladies Guided Open Play at St Patrick's School is beginner-friendly and includes light coaching. Complete beginners may also prefer a Beginner Group Lesson.
What is Family Open Play?
Family Open Play is a Sunday session at Serangoon for one parent and one child aged 8–12 to play together and meet other pickleball families. It runs from 11 AM to 1 PM and costs $38 per pair. Up to three parent-child pairs are allocated per court.
How do I book Family Open Play?
Family Open Play can be booked online through CourtReserve. Registration is by parent-child pair.
Do I need a DUPR rating for Saturday DUPR?
No. An existing DUPR rating is not required. Unrated players may join if they are playing at approximately DUPR 2.5 level or above. All participants must have a DUPR account before the event.
What are the weekday Fruits + Pickleball sessions?
Monday Fruits + Pickleball, Tuesday Fruits + Pickleball, Thursday Fruits + Pickleball and Friday Fruits + Pickleball run from 12 PM to 2 PM at Serangoon and cost $12 per participant.
What equipment do I need?
Equipment arrangements vary by session. Seniors Guided Open Play includes equipment. Paddle rental at Serangoon is available at $5 per paddle per hour where stated.
