Questions?

Do I have to start with the Women's Starter Workshop?

No. The pathway is designed so you can enter at the stage that suits your current playing level. Complete beginners can start with the Women's Pickleball Starter Workshop, while women ready for more structured learning can join the Women's Beginner Pickleball Course.

What is the Women's Beginner Pickleball Course?

It is Stage 2 of the pathway and consists of two 2-hour classes, for a total of four hours of coaching. Classes are kept to up to six players to provide more practice and coaching feedback.

What comes after the Beginner Course?

Ladies Guided Open Play is the natural next stage. It gives you opportunities to play more games, build confidence and apply what you learned during coaching.

When and where is Ladies Guided Open Play?

Ladies Guided Open Play is available at Serangoon and St Patrick's School. St Patrick's sessions include Friday from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM and Sunday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

When should I join a Skills Clinic?

Skills Clinics are best once you understand the basic rules and scoring, can serve and sustain rallies, and want to improve consistency, positioning, shot selection and doubles strategy.

Do I need a DUPR rating to progress through the pathway?

No. DUPR is part of the competitive stage and is not required for the earlier stages of the pathway.

Where do the social events fit into the pathway?

Women Who Play Together social events run alongside the whole pathway rather than being a separate final stage. You can join suitable social events whether you're new, learning, playing regularly or competing.

Do I need a partner?

No. Eligible workshops, courses and guided playing sessions can be joined individually unless a specific event states otherwise.
