Get your first DUPR rating, without the pressure.

Curious about your DUPR rating but not quite ready to join a regular ranked session?

DUPR Debut is a women-only introduction to DUPR-rated match play, designed for players who want a friendly and supportive way to get started. We will explain how the DUPR system works, guide you through a series of organised doubles matches, and submit the results through Play! Pickle, a DUPR-approved Club.

The matches count towards your rating, but the atmosphere will remain welcoming, social and low-pressure.

Time: 8:00 PM–10:00 PM
Venue: Play! Pickle Serangoon — air-conditioned courts
Fee: $58 per pax
Capacity: Limited to 24 women
Partner required: No

What to Expect

Participants will be divided into three groups of eight and rotate every 15 minutes between the courts and lounge area.

During the session, you will:

  • Play four DUPR-rated doubles matches

  • Partner with different players across the evening

  • Learn how DUPR ratings are calculated

  • Understand what the Reliability Score means

  • Learn how to build a more reliable rating over time

  • Meet other women who are also new to ranked play

There will be no elimination rounds and no public leaderboard. The focus is on helping you gain match experience and become more comfortable with the DUPR system.

DUPR 101

During the lounge rotations, our team will explain:

  • What a DUPR rating represents

  • How match results affect your rating

  • Why your first rating may change after more matches

  • What the Reliability Score means

  • How results are submitted

  • What sessions you can join next

There will also be time to rest, hydrate and ask questions.

Who This Is For

This session is suitable for women who:

  • Are currently unrated on DUPR

  • Have played socially but have never joined a rated session

  • Already have a rating but want to build their match history

  • Can serve, rally and keep score in a basic doubles game

This is not a beginner pickleball lesson. Participants should already understand the basic rules and scoring system.

Before the Session

Please:

  • Download the DUPR app

  • Create a free DUPR account

  • Join the Play! Pickle on DUPR

  • Arrive by 7:45 PM for registration

  • Bring your own paddle where possible

Welcome, DUPR introduction and group allocation

8:15 PM–9:45 PM
Six 15-minute court and lounge rotations

9:45 PM–10:00 PM
Score verification, rating explanation, Q&A and group photo

Terms and Conditions

  • Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event date.

  • You may transfer your place to another eligible participant by informing us before the session.

  • Participants must have a DUPR account before coming for the event.

  • Match results recorded during the session will be submitted to DUPR.

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring that their DUPR profile details are accurate.

  • The programme may be modified where necessary for safety or operational reasons.
