How It Works

At check-in, each player will draw a country card. This becomes your scoring team for the night.

You will play a series of short doubles games and rotate partners after each round. You do not need to pair with someone holding the same country card. In fact, you may be paired with players from different countries throughout the event.

Your points follow your own country card.

For example, if you draw Japan and your partner draws Brazil, both of you can still play together. If your doubles pair scores 8 points in that round, you add 8 points to Japan, while your partner adds 8 points to Brazil.

At the end of the night, we will add up the total points for each country. The country with the highest score wins the World Cup Pickle Party.

What To Expect

Expect short games, rotating partners, friendly rallies, and a simple leaderboard.

This is a social pickleball event with a light competitive twist. It is not a fixed-team tournament, so you will get to play with different people throughout the night.

Who This Is For

This event is suitable for adults who enjoy social pickleball, casual competition, and World Cup season energy.

Beginners are welcome, but players should be comfortable joining a doubles game and keeping a simple score.

You do not need to be a football fan to join. The World Cup theme simply adds a fun twist to the pickleball format.

What To Wear

You may wear your favourite country colours if you like.

Football jerseys are welcome, but not required.

Please wear proper sports shoes suitable for court play.

What Is Included

Your ticket includes court time, use of equipment, and participation in the Country Cup format.

Paddles and balls will be provided.
