Pickleball, Conversations & Connections

Startup Morning Club is a casual morning gathering for founders, business owners, professionals and anyone curious about building something of their own.

Sessions are held on the first Thursday of every month, from 9 AM to 11 AM.

Come for a game of pickleball, meet interesting people and have conversations that may lead to new ideas, friendships, collaborations or opportunities.

There are no presentations, formal pitches or awkward networking exercises. The atmosphere is relaxed, beginner-friendly and designed to help people connect naturally.

What Happens During the Morning

Arrive and Meet People

Come in from 9 AM, settle in and introduce yourself to a few people. There is no formal introduction round, so you do not need to prepare a pitch.

Social Pickleball

We will organise casual, rotating pickleball games so that you get to play with different people throughout the morning.

Beginners are welcome, and paddles will be provided. Our team will help with the basics and keep the games moving, but the emphasis is on having fun rather than competing.

Open Networking

Between games, take a break, continue a conversation or meet someone new.

You may find yourself discussing a business idea, sharing what you are working on, looking for advice or simply getting to know people from different industries.

Our hosts may make introductions when they notice people with shared interests, but there is no compulsory matching or structured networking activity.

Community Shout-Outs

Towards the end of the morning, anyone who wishes may briefly share:

  • What they are working on

  • Something they are looking for

  • A person they would like to meet

  • An opportunity they would like to share

Participation is completely optional.

What the Morning Looks Like

9:00 AM onwards
Arrival and casual conversations

Around 9:15 AM
Social pickleball begins, with relaxed rotations throughout the morning

From around 10:15 AM
Continue playing or move to the lounge for more conversations and networking

Before 11:00 AM
Optional community shout-outs and final introductions

The timings are deliberately flexible. Play as much as you like, take breaks whenever you want and let the conversations develop naturally.

Startup Morning Club takes place on the first Thursday of every month, from 9 AM to 11 AM.

You do not need to have a startup, a polished business idea or any pickleball experience.

Just bring your sports attire, curiosity and willingness to meet new people.
