Looking to meet new people without sitting through another awkward dinner or intense “so what do you do?” conversation?
Join us for Sporty Singles: Pickleball Edition, a small, beginner friendly pickleball social for singles in their 20s and 30s, held at our air-con courts at Play! Pickle Serangoon.
You’ll get light coaching, guided play, simple rotations, and plenty of chances to chat in between games.
No pickleball experience needed.
No pressure to be good.
No need to be sporty sporty.
Just come ready to move a little, laugh a little, and meet other singles in a way that feels more natural.
How It Works
This is a small group session with only 16 participants.
At any one time, 8 pax will be on court playing, while 8 pax will be seated, resting, chatting, and getting to know each other.
We’ll rotate everyone through the session so you get:
time to play
time to learn
time to rest
time to mingle
The format is designed to be easy, casual, and low pressure.
You do not need to come with a partner.
You do not need to know how to play pickleball.
You do not need to be naturally charming under social pressure.
Beginners Are Welcome
Never played pickleball before?
You’re exactly who this event is for.
Our coaches will guide you through the basics, including serving, rallying, court positioning, and simple game play.
The aim is to help everyone feel comfortable enough to play, laugh, rotate, and have fun.
What To Expect
Expect a relaxed Friday night with:
light pickleball coaching
beginner friendly guided play
small group rotations
casual conversations
air-con courts
all equipment provided
This is a social pickleball night for singles who want to meet people in a way that feels less forced and more fun.
Who This Is For
This event is for singles in their 20s and 30s who:
want to meet new people in Singapore
are new to pickleball or still learning
prefer an active social event over a sit-down mixer
want a beginner friendly and low pressure environment
are open to making friends, connections, or maybe something more
No experience required.
Just bring yourself and a willingness to be slightly awkward in a wholesome way.
Why We’re Keeping It Small
We’re limiting this session to 16 pax only so the event feels comfortable, personal, and easy to manage.
A smaller group means better rotations, more time to chat, and less standing around wondering what to do with your hands.
At any point, half the group will be playing while the other half will be seated and mingling.
This gives everyone a natural rhythm of play, rest, and conversation.
What To Bring
Please come in comfortable sports attire.
Wear court friendly shoes if you have them.
All pickleball equipment will be provided, including paddles and balls.
You may want to bring a water bottle and a small towel.
Good To Know
This is a singles social event, but we are keeping the vibe relaxed and friendly.
There is no formal matchmaking and no heavy curation of participants.
Come with an open mind. You may meet someone interesting, make a new friend, or simply discover that pickleball is dangerously addictive.
