St Patrick's School is the main training hub for our developing and competitive junior players.
Its three sheltered pickleball courts provide a dedicated environment for Junior Development, Junior Elite, team training, coached match play and junior competition.

Players aged 8–12 can begin with Junior Development at St Patrick's School. Younger players aged 5–8 can start with Junior Development at Serangoon.

Singapore Team Junior Pickleball
Developing Singapore’s next generation of junior pickleball players
Singapore Team Junior Pickleball is a junior training and competition programme by Play! Pickle.
We identify promising young players, train them through a structured development pathway, and provide opportunities to compete in Singapore and overseas.
Selected juniors will receive focused coaching, match-play development, team training, and partial sponsorship support as they grow as competitive pickleball players.
This is for young players with potential, commitment, and the right attitude.
Age groups
Singapore Team Junior Pickleball will develop players across 10U, 12U, and 16U age groups.
Player Pathway
From junior development training to elite team selection and overseas competition
Singapore Team Junior Pickleball follows a progressive pathway for young players who show interest, potential, and commitment.
Players begin with regular junior training at Play! Pickle Serangoon, then may be invited into the Junior Elite Team and eventually selected for the Junior Touring Team.
1. Junior Development Team
Build the foundation
The Junior Development Team is the entry point into the Singapore Team Junior Pickleball pathway.
Players train once or twice a week at Play! Pickle Serangoon, where they build strong fundamentals, confidence, and match awareness.
The current Kids 8–12 schedule at Play! Pickle Serangoon is Saturday 3 PM to 4 PM and Sunday 3 PM to 4 PM.
Training focuses on:
Stroke foundations
Rally control
Serve and return
Dinks and volleys
Kitchen movement
Doubles positioning
Basic match play
Sportsmanship and confidence
This stage is suitable for young players who are learning to play properly, developing consistency, and showing early competitive potential.
2. Junior Elite Team
Train with greater focus
Players who show strong potential, commitment, and coachability may be invited into the Junior Elite Team.
The current Junior Elite Team (10-14 yo) schedule at Play! Pickle Serangoon is Wednesday 3 PM to 4 PM.
This is for juniors who are ready for a higher level of training and regular match-play development.

Selection into the Junior Elite Team is based on coach assessment, training attitude, match performance, and readiness for a more serious training environment.
3. Junior Touring Team
Compete beyond Singapore
The Junior Touring Team is selected from the Junior Elite Team for overseas tournaments, regional competitions, and junior team friendlies.
Players may be selected for specific trips or matches based on:

The Junior Touring Team gives promising juniors the chance to gain international exposure, compete against overseas players, and represent the squad in a team environment.
