What to Expect

• 2 stations, equal time: everyone gets 60 mins Pickleball + 60 mins Mahjong

• Guided but relaxed:

  • 1 Pickleball Instructor to keep games flowing + share quick tips

  • 1 Mahjong Instructor to help with rules, calls, and table flow

• Fast rotations: short games and structured switching so you’re not stuck in one corner all night

• All levels welcome: beginners and regulars can both enjoy this format

Event Format (32 pax total)

You’ll be split into 2 groups (16 pax each):

• Group A starts at the Mahjong Station (4 tables)

• Group B starts at the Pickleball Station (4 courts)

✅ Rotate every 30 minutes so everyone spends equal time on both stations.

Program Flow

7:45–8:00 PM — Arrival & Group Allocation
Check-in, assign Group A / Group B, quick briefing by instructors.

8:00–8:30 PM — Block 1
Group A: Mahjong • Group B: Pickleball

8:30–9:00 PM — Block 2 (Rotate)
Group A → Pickleball • Group B → Mahjong

9:00–9:30 PM — Block 3
Second round at the station (more play time + more guidance)

9:30–10:00 PM — Block 4 (Final Rotate)
Final switch so everyone completes 2 blocks each station

10:00 PM — Wrap & Photo

Do I need to come with 4 people for Mahjong?
No—tables are formed on-site. We’ll rotate groups so you get to meet different people.

Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes. Both stations have an instructor to guide and help keep things moving.

How does pickleball work for all levels?
We’ll run friendly doubles rotations and keep games short so everyone gets plenty of play time.

House Rules (Important)

This is a social mahjong event: no gambling, no side bets, no prizes. Points/chips can be used for tracking, but no settling with money or items of value.

Terms & Conditions

• 32 pax cap. Entry is only confirmed upon successful payment/registration.

• Please arrive 10–15 mins early for briefing and group allocation.

• Play! Pickle reserves the right to reassign groups/tables to ensure smooth rotations.

• We may remove participants who do not comply with venue rules or the no-gambling policy.

• By joining, you consent to event photography/videography for marketing (let us know at check-in if you prefer to opt out).
