Is Women Who Play a women-only club?
Yes, the proposed club and community are intended for women. Some currently advertised Play! Pickle adult coaching courses and DUPR sessions are mixed; those are explicitly labelled until women-only editions are scheduled.
Do I need experience to join?
No. Complete beginners can start with the Women's Starter Workshop. Experienced players may enter at a more suitable stage based on their skills.
Is club membership required for classes?
No. Existing coaching, guided play and events can be booked at standard programme prices. The club membership structure is being developed and is optional.
Is VIP membership available now?
Not yet. The $99 annual rate and proposed benefits are ideas for a future pilot. Please register your interest by email; no membership fee is currently collected through this page.
Do I receive an official certification?
Proposed achievement certificates would be issued by Play! Pickle for player-development milestones. They would not be accredited coaching qualifications or official DUPR certifications.
How long are coaching sessions?
Standard sessions in the pathway are one or two hours. The Beginner Course has two separate two-hour lessons. Special competitions may run longer.
Do I need a partner?
No. You can join eligible workshops and guided playing sessions as an individual; suitable games and rotations are organised at each event.
Where will the club operate?
Serangoon is the proposed flagship location. Existing women's sessions also run at St Patrick's School, with additional venues potentially added as demand grows.
