Mixed Doubles

Venue: Play! Pickle Punggol

Fee: $120 per team (early bird)

Prizes: Top 3 teams will receive CourtReserve vouchers, equipment, and medals

Tournament Information

Pre-Registration

  • All participants are required to download the Reclub app.

  • Join ‘Play! Pickle’ (Club Code: HLN8Q) to find Play! Pickle page. Tournament fixtures and scores will be available on the app.

  • All players must be part of Play! Pickle club on DUPR before we can sync the match scores to your account. You can accept our invitation on DUPR app. All matches will be logged in within 1 month of completion of tournament.

  • Mixed doubles, 1 x male and 1 x female player per team.

    Both adult 19 yo and above. No rating restrictions.

Registration

  • Early bird: $120 per team. After 7 Feb: $150 per team

  • Payment to be done via UEN: T25LL0723F (PLAY! PICKLE LLP). Upload receipt accordingly.

  • All teams are confirmed upon reciept of payment.

  • Do not entertain any private message from non-staff of Play! Pickle in Reclub regarding payment. We will never ask you to transfer monies except through the company UEN.

  • Kindly check with Play! Pickle staff for any related matters, if needed.

Match Format

  • Scoring system shall follow the Rally Scoring System with no deuce rule (i.e. in Round Robin and Elimination Rounds, first pair to reach 15 points win).

  • Round 1 shall be Group Play in Round Robin format; and Round 2 onwards, shall be Single Elimination format.

  • The top 2 teams in the individual Round Robin groups shall proceed to play Single Eliminations in Round 2. All other teams in the group shall be eliminated.

  • The Organisers and Tournament Committee shall have the right to modify the Divisions and Match Format.

Scoring Format

  • Group and elimination stage - 1 set

  • 3rd/4th, Finals - 3 sets

Players Responsibilities

  • Tracks the score and player positions

  • Call the scores (loud and audible)

  • All line calls (loud, audible and promptly) on their respective courts

  • Extend benefit of doubt to opponents

  • Spirit of Sportsmanship

  • You can request for Referee only if:

    (1) A rule is deliberately violated repeatedly

    (2) Players are not able to quickly and easily resolve a dispute

  • The referee shall resolve the rally under dispute, and the referees’ decision is final. If the dispute is not resolved within 5 minutes, it will be escalated to the organisers and the organisers’ decisions shall be final. The organiser reserves the right to eliminate both teams.

Matches

  • All participants are required to report 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

  • Once each match is completed, we will proceed to start the next match (in order to keep to the time schedule to prevent an overrun).

  • Organisers reserve the right to start matches up to 30 minutes before scheduled time.

  • The Tournament Director may assign additional officials to officiate any match - before the match commences, or during the match.

  • Results shall be available on ReClub app.
